Bourbon has been in our program just over a year now and boy has she wowed us! First off she was a rescue, and we got no papers for her, we honestly didn't expect a lot from her but liked her eye, attitude, and confirmation. when we got her she wasn't even halter broke. Fast forward to now she has done a good bit of races with us and boy is she amazing! Her recoveries are some of the best i've ever experienced, her attitude at races is very business, she wants to do her job and she wants to do it well, she wants to win and there is no goofing off. But at home she is very sweet, which is a dramatic change from when we got her. She wants to please but is not going to be happy with a rider that doesn't know how to ride well, she expects greatness just as much as we do, and she is very smart. If you know Lilly or Jaaz then think of this mare as if they had a baby. She is showing a ton of potential after just wining her first 50 at the yellowhammer ride in Alabama, as well as receiving Best Condition and High Vet Score
